Words & a Pic – October 28

When Greg earned his Ph.D at the University of Manchester, we wondered if it would be worth buying the regalia. I’m so glad we did. Greg usually participates in at least five graduations a year as the regional education DSCN6413coordinator.

Currently he is in a very busy travel time. Please remember all the graduates who will be looking for places of ministry in the upcoming weeks whether they are pastors, nurses, teachers, entrepreneurs, or in another profession.

Also pray for safety as Greg attends commencements, board meetings, and global education meetings. All in all, he’ll be in six countries before the new year.

Quote from Amy’s reading:  “In order to be truly happy in the largest sense of that word, we must have something to do, someone to love, and something to look forward to” (location 226).

Jesus was used to people asking him this brazen question. In John 10:24, some Jews gathered around asked him: “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly” (NIV).rubik Jesus

The Lord replied that he had already spoken openly about his Father, and that his miracles attested to his divinity. They got the message and angrily picked up stones to throw at him.

The Lord has a way of turning questions back on us.
